Jaguar Cars chose Bladon Jets to supply the turbines used in its C-X75 concept electric sports car to generate electricity to extend the range of its battery. Bladon Jets’ primary locations are the Engineering Centre in Coventry, UK, its partner Heat Exchanger Technical Centre in Ottawa, Canada and its Head Office on the Isle of Man. The founders of Bladon Jets are closely associated with the Isle of Man TT races, with the Paul Bladon Trophy awarded annually to the rider who completes the fastest lap in their class in the Post Classic event at the Manx Grand Prix.

HRH The Duke of Kent visits Bladon Jets Engineering Centre, Coventry
Staff at Bladon Jets were pleased to receive a visit yesterday by HRH The Duke of Kent. The Duke of Kent was accompanied on the tour by Lord Lieutenant of West Midlands, Mr Paul Sabapathy, Lord Mayor of Coventry Cllr Tim Sawdon and Lady Mayoress Mrs Nicky Sawdon. The party was given an overview of the history of the company and its innovative technology in micro gas turbine power generation technology. The Duke of Kent viewed prototype gas turbine engines, and saw the company’s patented use of Electro Discharge Machining (EDM) technology in action. He was also taken through the advanced design and validation processes that the company uses in developing the MGT technology.
