VoIP

Sapphire Business Solutions are experts in VoIP installations using an Avaya or Panasonic business telephone system. Our highly trained engineers are experts in deploying multisite solutions, linking businesses and remote workers together as if you are all in the same office.

Multisite Solutions

A multisite is where we can link multiple sites to act as a
single telephone system.
VoIP

The benefits of this solution are:

    • Receive free calls between your networked sites.
    • Receive user presence across all sites.
    • Centralised operators and voice mail.
    • All the system features as if you were all in the same office.

Remote Workers

Remote workersIf you have home workers or a small site that does not require
a telephone system, we can deploy IP phones that connect
to the main telephone system at head office. The remote
worker will then become a user on the system.

The benefits of this solution are:

      • Receive free calls between your users/sites.
      • Receive user presence.
      • Cover for your business in adverse weather.
      • All the system features as if you were all in the same office.

  • Office UsersOffice phones

Instead of using traditional digital handsets we can deploy IP handsets in to your head office, which is connected to your current network (LAN).

Unlike Traditional digital handsets, IP hardphones require power. This can be provided by a Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch or local power supplies. The solution also requires a minimum of CAT5e cable, albeit a single point can be used for PC and Phone.

The benefits of this soultion are:

      • Single network point for PC/Phone
      • Less hardware to be installed in server cabinet
      • Extension relocations do not require an engineeer

IP Phones

Softphone: A softphone is a piece of software that is installed on a PC and allows you to use it as a telephone by connecting a headset or USB handset. This solution can be used anywhere where you can connect to the internet whether it being at home or in McDonalds.

Hardphone: A hardphone is a physical handset that is connected to a broadband router with a VPN back to the main telephone system at your head office. Unlike a softphone a hardphone is normally used in a fixed position such as a home office.

SIP Trunks

You can connect SIP trunks to the Avaya or Panasonic business systems.

What is a SIP Trunk?

VoIP (or SIP) trunks enables customers to utilise a single Internet connection for making and receiving multiple concurrent telephone calls. VoIP trunking provides your organisation with added flexibility, improves business continuity and offers substantial cost savings over traditional telephony services. By utilising VoIP trunks within a converged voice and data network, you can dynamically allocate bandwidth to other needs such as email and web traffic as and when you need it.
